Against this industry backdrop, HVC Capacitor launched its HV thick film resistor business in 2017, adopting a process route closely aligned with EBG — same 96% Al2O3 ceramic substrate, RuO2 ruthenium-based resistor paste, and ~850°C firing window for non-inductive thick film technology. HVC's engineering team includes former EBG employees, ensuring process alignment at the technical source. To date, HVC has been qualified for volume production by multiple international manufacturers including Planmeca Oy (Finland), Haining Jingyi Electronics (affiliated with iRay Technology), Spellman, and Hitek Power.
